The existing Safety and Soundness Policy document provided by CESCCUG to all the credit unions shall continue to be the point of reference. To that end, GSCCU 2023 will be interested in strengthening membership growth and enhancing public confidence in the Credit Union. It will also support the ongoing protection of depositors’ funds, promote democratic values and share information through annual general meetings and related awareness raising activities. It is hoped that when the above issues are adequately addressed during this strategic period, it will help a long way in strengthening the sustainability of the Credit Union. In addition, the CESCCU Board of Directors will be interested in institutionalizing prudent internal control procedures and good management practices.
